Magnetic filter or electromagnetic filter, which one to choose?

In this blog we will explore the distinctions between magnetic and electromagnetic filters supplied by ITAL, highlighting their specific characteristics and applications to provide a comprehensive understanding of this equipment.

MAGNETIC FILTER:

Magnetic filters absorb trapped in the fluid, removing them from circulation, cleaning the filter elements.

They are used in the last phase of the process, ferrous dimensions are found in small proportions, when comparing the phases of superior separators, where other magnetic equipment is used: magnetic, magnetic pulleys, magnetic degrees, magnetic drums.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FILTER:

Electromagnetic material separators (electromagnetic filter) are used to use traces of iron that are in a crushed state.

Electromagnetic filters are constructed by a series of grids strongly magnetized by means of a coil that surrounds them. The winding is powered by a direct current and serves to insulate the grilles and other parts that make up the structure of the device.

These grilles are easily removable for quick and easy cleaning. They are placed on top of each other, forcing the material to come into contact with them as much as possible, thus causing the iron particles to be retained.
